Bacon Wrapped Scallops

Try this bacon wrapped scallop recipe for a great and easy way to prepare scallops.

Recipe Ingredients

* 10 large scallops
* 10 strips of bacon
* 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
* 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
* 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
* 1/8 teaspoon of salt



Recipe Directions

1. Place the bacon in an ungreased baking pan.
2. Bake the bacon at 350 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes or until the bacon is partially cooked and lightly browned.
3. Drain the bacon on paper towels and wrap each strip of bacon around a scallop, securing the bacon with toothpicks.
4. Bring the cream to a boil in a saucepan and then reduce heat.
5. Stir the mustard, syrup and salt into the cream and then bring the mixture to a boil and boil for about 2 minutes.
6. Place the scallops onto a greased baking sheet and bake them at 400 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes or until the scallops are firm.
7. Serve the scallops with the cream sauce drizzled over the top.
