Lemon and Garlic Scallops

Try this wonderful recipe for Lemon and Garlic Scallops. This is an easy and tasty scallop dish to prepare and serve.

Recipe Ingredients

* 3/4 cup of butter
* 3 tablespoons of garlic (minced)
* 2 pounds of large scallops
* 1 teaspoon of salt
* 1/8 teaspoon of pepper
* 2 tablespoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice


Recipe Directions

1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Stir in the garlic, and cook for a few seconds until fragrant.
3. Add the scallops, and cook for several minutes on one side before turning.
4. Continue to cook the scallops until they are firm and opaque.
5. Remove the scallopsĀ  and place them on a platter.
6. Stir the salt, pepper, and lemon juice into the butter.
7. Pour the sauce over the scallops and serve.
