Pan frying scallops is a easy and tasty way to cook sea scallops. Fried scallops go well with a variety of side dishes.

Recipe Ingredients
  • large sea scallops
  • butter
  • minced garlic
  • lemons
  • parsley (chopped)
  • paprika

Cooking Directions

  1. Clean the scallops thoroughly.
  2. Melt 3 to 4 tbsp of butter in a hot  skillet. Add the scallops and minced garlic to the skillet.
  3. Allow the scallops to cook for  three to four minutes,  then flip. As the scallops begin to brown slightly, squeeze the fresh lemon over the scallops. Sprinkle the scallops with the chopped parsley and paprika to suit your taste.
  4. Continue to cook to desired degree brownness and add additional lemon and butter if needed.
  5. Do not allow the scallops to burn. Add more butter to the skillet if needed for moisture. Let scallops turn very brown on each side.
  6. Serve the scallops along with or over your favorite pasta.
